When we lose a loved one, it's a comfort to mark this final ceremony with grace and dignity. Much of the funeral ritual centers on this need. The quiet, subdued environment of he funeral home, the muted tones of the clothing we wear, the soft music. Like the final strains of a much loved overture, we softly say our good byes

Let us help.

The Honour Guard serves at Funeral and Memorial Services for members and friends of the St. Andrew's Society of Detroit and others who wish a kilted presence at the ceremonies. At the funeral home, we can post a Guard member at the head and foot of the casket as your family and friends pay their final respects. At the service, the Honour Guard can accompany the casket in slow cadence to the front of the church and stand at attention to the side until the time comes to lead the way out. Later, the plaintive sound of a lone piper playing "Amazing Grace" filters across the manicure lawn of the memorial garden.
